Apprenticeship

Program

At From Scratch Farm, we believe education should be rooted in purpose, not paperwork. That’s why we’re launching our state-registered apprenticeship program—an out-of-high school pathway for those eager to grow a career without a four-year institution. Beginning June 2026, apprentices will have the opportunity to earn certification as either a Master Farmer (Farm Manager) or Master Cook (Kitchen Manager). This immersive, hands-on program combines classroom learning with real-world experience on our farm and in the kitchen, giving students the skills, confidence, and credentials to thrive in sustainable food systems.

Whether your passion is cultivating the land or crafting meals from its harvest, this program offers a direct, empowering route into meaningful work. With mentorship, community, and practical knowledge at its core, our apprenticeship is more than education—it’s a movement to build the next generation of growers, chefs, and changemakers.
